Results of Life Cycle Analysis on the reuse of old bricks have been published

During 2013 an LCA on the reuse of old bricks has been performed, and the results are now finally released - they are promissing news for both REBRICK and the environment. The report has been conducted and published by the Danish Environmental Agency.

REBRICK pilot plant is getting ready for production

The first REBRICK replication plant is ready for start up, and is currently receiving input material from the Danish brewery Carlsberg’s old production site in Copenhagen. The bricks from Carlsberg will be the first to run through the brand new cleaning machine in Hedehusene, Denmark, when the final inspections are made after Easter

New film introducing the Ircow project

C&DW is one of the largest waste streams in the EU with a high potential for recovery of valuable materials and resources. The FP7 IRCOW project - Innovative Strategies for High-Grade Material Recovery from Construction and Demolition Waste shows how C&DW can be easily reused or recycled within the construction sector saving energy, resources while providing business opportunities.? Rebrick represented at the IRCOW stakeholder panel
